Archax Expands to U.S. With Acquisition of FINRA-Regulated Digital Assets Broker
Archax, the UK’s first digital assets exchange regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), announced it has finalized the acquisition of Globacap Private Markets Inc.
Globacap Private Markets Inc. is a U.S. broker-dealer that is regulated by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It has also been rebranded as Archax Markets US.
The deal will position Archax to offer tokenized real-world assets (RWAs)—including equities, bonds, and funds—to U.S. institutional investors.

CEO Graham Rodford cited the rising U.S. demand while referencing the crypto-friendly regulatory environment under the current administration.
The takeover comes after Archax’s acquisition of Spanish broker King Shaxson Capital Markets in October 2024, which is part of its international expansion strategy.
The company has established itself in tokenizing assets across blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Hedera Hashgraph, and XRP Ledger. Its tokenized Treasury fund, developed with Abrdn on XRP Ledger, recorded $45 million in deposits and ranks among the top 10 by assets under management.Â

With the U.S. entry effective March 31, 2025, Archax plans to introduce tokenized UK equities, gilts, and U.S. financial products, relying on the projected $16 trillion tokenization market of 2030.
Archax Move Part Of Surge In Tokenized Digital Assets
Tokenized digital assets represent real-world assets in on-blockchain form, offering fractional ownership, improved liquidity, and fast settlement.
The technology targets traditionally illiquid markets like bonds and real estate, widening its investment access.
The company’s current offerings span tokenized money market funds, corporate bonds, carbon credits, and uranium, with plans to extend into U.S. markets. The FINRA-regulated status of Archax Markets US ensures compliance with U.S. securities regulations, a key requirement for tokenized assets classified as securities.

With the sector gaining attention, Fidelity Investments has filed for a tokenized U.S. Treasury fund on March 22, 2025, while CME Group partnered with Google Cloud to explore tokenization on March 25, 2025. These moves signal the growing role of blockchain in the business of asset management, where Archax will be right at the center.

FINRA, under SEC supervision, enforces compliance for broker-dealers, including Archax Markets US, to protect investors and maintain market standards.
This regulatory framework supports Archax’s ability to deliver secure tokenized securities, appealing to institutional customers with considerable amounts of capital. The transaction is a crucial step toward merging traditional finance and blockchain technology.
