Binance Vote to List Campaign: How MUBARAK, BROCCOLI, TUT & BANANA Made the Cut
Binance has concluded its “Vote to List†campaign, with MUBARAK, BROCCOLI, TUT, and BANANA coming off as top and selected to be listed for spot trading on its platform.
The ‘Vote to List’ program, which wrapped up on March 27, 2025, saw trading for these BNB Smart Chain-based meme coins begin at 21:00 UTC the same day, with deposits opened an hour earlier and withdrawals today, March 28, 2025, at 00:00 UTC+3.
The campaign was launched on March 19, 2025, as reported by Ecoinimist, and recorded 185,432 votes from 119,334 participants, with 172,973 votes being counted after spam was removed. Binance explained that while the process was led by community votes, the final decision came as a result of a rigorous review with compliance and risk assessments.
These tokens, now live with pairs like MUBARAK/USDT and BANANA/USDC, are a balance of voter preference and the exchange’s internal criteria.
Binance Meme Coin Mayhem: MUBARAK, BROCCOLI, TUT, and BANANA Steal the Spotlight
The four tokens picked are proof of the growing meme coin trend. MUBARAK secured 8,251 valid votes—approximately 10.2% based on community estimates—and draws from Middle Eastern cultural themes, with a subtle nod from Binance founder Changpeng Zhao.
BROCCOLI, believed to be CZ’S Dog (BROCCOLI714), honors Zhao’s pet and captured a community-reported 14.7% of votes. TUT, or Tutorial, started out as a project for education and before growing to become an AI-enabled meme coin, ranking fourth in qualifying votes based on Binance’s final tally.

BANANA, also known as BANANAS31, is a result of the “Banana for Scale” meme that became viral and won a community-estimated 19.4% of votes, ranking second, with its funny beginnings surprising some.
Though community vote rankings favored tokens like WHY (18.8%) and SIREN (15.7%)—which outranked some winners in community tallies—they were excluded due to Binance’s emphasis on due diligence over raw vote counts.
All four tokens carry Seed Tags, signaling them as high-risk assets, according to the statement from Binance.
Market Rollercoaster and Voter Backlash: Four Tokens Causes Controversy
Trading started immediately after the tokens were listed, with varied price movements. As of March 28, MUBARAK surged briefly before dipping, BROCCOLI jumped 65%, TUT surged over 200%, and BANANAS31 rose 11%.

Binance’s decision to list four tokens instead of the two anticipated was controversial, as community voting percentages did not align with the final result. Participation was high, with 172,973 valid votes; Binance filtered out 12,459 fraudulent attempts from the total 185,432 votes.
This hybrid approach—merging community input with internal review—may set the precedent for future listings, bringing a balance between engagement and operational stability.
