Ethereum Whistleblower Warns of Mind-Control Tech, Sends $2M to WikiLeaks
A pseudonymous Chinese programmer, “Hu Lezhi,” donated $2 million worth of Ethereum (ETH) to WikiLeaks, alleging in an on-chain message that the Chinese military is deploying nano-brain-computer chips to control civilians.
The claims have sparked debate and concerns about potential technological misuse.
Lezhi, who describes themselves as an ordinary programmer, asserts that they have been a victim of these “brain-computer weapons” since birth.
“Brain-computer chips have been deployed militarily on a large scale. All military powers use base stations, radios, and nano-brain-computer chips to control all citizens.”
Lezhi also expressed deep despair, stating, “I have completely lost my dignity as a human being.”
Massive ETH Transactions to WikiLeaks and the Ethereum Burn Address
Lezhi’s donation to WikiLeaks totaled 711.5 ETH ($2 million) across five transactions between Feb. 10 and Feb. 17, with the largest transfer of 591.6 ETH ($1.6 million) occurring on Feb. 17 at 7:13 AM UTC.

Additionally, Lezhi sent 603 ETH ($1.65 million) to Ethereum’s burn address, effectively removing the cryptocurrency from circulation. The purpose of this transaction remains unclear. Furthermore, 700 ETH was transferred to the “ndao.eth” wallet, and 33 ETH to an undisclosed “Grant Provider” address, bringing the total transferred amount to 2,047 ETH—approximately $5.6 million.
Allegations Against Executives at WizardQuant
Beyond accusations against the military, Lezhi also implicated two hedge fund executives from the quantitative investment firm Kuande Investment, also known as WizardQuant. Lezhi accused Feng Xin and Xu Yuzhi of employing similar brain-computer technology to control their employees, likening the experience to digital servitude.

WizardQuant, founded in 2014, operates in Beijing and Shanghai and employs between 51-200 people, according to LinkedIn data. The firm specializes in algorithmic trading strategies for stock, futures, and options markets. Feng Xin serves as the co-founder and chief risk officer, while Xu Yuzhi holds the role of chief investment officer.
The concept of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) is not new, with companies like Elon Musk’s Neuralink actively developing brain-chip technology for medical and enhancement applications. However, there is no publicly available evidence to support the claim that governments or businesses are deploying such technology for widespread control.

Lezhi’s on-chain whistleblowing raises ethical concerns about the potential weaponization of neural technology. Even in the absence of evidence, such allegations touch on crucial human rights issues in the digital age.
WikiLeaks has yet to make an official statement regarding the donation, leaving the crypto and privacy communities eager to confirm or refute these allegations. Meanwhile, this incident remains one of the most intriguing whistleblower cases in Ethereum’s history.
